The aquaculture market for farmed fish is growing rapidly, particularly in Asia, and the search is now on for a plant-based protein to replace wild-caught fishmeal in the aquaculture feed ration, due to sustainability concerns. That opens up the door for distillers grains or other ethanol coproducts to break into the market. Although research studies have shown traditional distillers grains can be incorporated into the aquaculture ration with good results, new ethanol coproducts may have even more promise. This webinar will outline the potential market and three new high protein coproduct technologies either already in use or in development in the U.S. and abroad.
